John Kabia is Program Officer for Children and Youth Rights at the Fund for Global Human Rights. Until recently, he served as Program Officer for Thematic Initiatives overseeing work on corporate accountability and the enabling environment for human rights defenders. Prior to that he was Program Officer for West Africa responsible for programs in Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Nigeria. John holds a PhD in conflict, security and development from the University of Bradford, UK and has authored several research publications on human rights, conflict and peacebuilding.
